Description: 
Buchanan Hauling & Rigging, Inc. offers full-service truckload brokerage solutions ranging from regular dry-van, flatbed, step-deck freight to oversize multi-axle permit loads. These capabilities are available for customers throughout the continental United States, Canada, and Mexico. We currently are looking to add to our team of existing brokers. 

Position: 
A truckload broker is responsible for selling transportation brokerage services by developing relationships with existing and potential customers. 

- Develops relationships and negotiates transportation rates with freight carriers.
- Contact existing and potential customers daily to develop customer and carrier relationships.
- Responsible for generation of sales opportunities and closing the sale with customer and carrier relationships. 
- Monitor the shipment in transit and communicate status to customer. 

Requirements: 


- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Must be resilient and comfortable in a cold –calling environment.
- Must be comfortable with and encouraged by base pay plus commission structure.
