Chief Operating Officer, Rob Rausch, and Chief Financial Officer, David Francis were invited to be one of several special speakers at the Expedite Expo 2023 at the Fort Wayne Memorial Coliseum. The event is open to people from all over North America who will come to learn about the newest expedite trucking industry news, equipment, career opportunities, and products geared specifically to expedite owner-operators and drivers.
At the event, on Friday, the pair shared 'How to Better Protect Yourself in a Litigious Environment'. The team touched on best practices to protect yourself rather you were a driver or a logistics firm. David touched on several key areas, including securement, safety, and insurance. They were also able to take part in a Q&A after the event's conclusion.
Following the speaking session, the expo hall opened to the public at 1 pm and Buchanan had a booth for people to come by and talk to a couple of our employees about truck driving and how Buchanan has grown over the years to help shape a safer and better tomorrow for the transportation industry.
